The TDF Group has extensively tested and eventually selected Digigram's IQOYA and PYKO IP transport solutions as the basis for its own Audio-over-IP proposals. The PYKO range was chosen for solutions that transit in part over the public Internet network, whereas the IQOYA range, particularly the * LINK/LE and * SERV/LINK products will be used for projects based on the TMS network, which is fully controlled and operated by TDF.
According to TDF's Jean-Louis Degoul, Digigram's IP products were a perfect match for TDF's demanding specifications. "Our solutions are based first and foremost on quality," noted Degoul. "That means 100% reliability combined with the highest possible audio quality. Digigram's range of IP transport products offer extremely low latency, excellent audio transport stability and numerous redundancy options, thereby fulfilling our most stringent criteria for developing high quality, reliable audio-over-IP solutions that we can present to our clients with complete confidence."
Christelle Nay, sales account Mmanager Digigram adds, "TDF expectations and testing standards were extremely high. Our devices were pushed to the limits and we're extremely pleased with the outcome. The 'TDF tested' result was a milestone we were eager to reach, not only for our European customers but also for the increasing number of 'IP-minded' broadcasters looking for truly 24/7 reliable solutions."
