One booth dedicated to professional lighting (pictured), the other to entertainment lighting
China - For the fifth year in succession PR Lighting were able to report a 100% positive reaction to their new product showcase at this year's GET Show 2015.

Held once again at the Poly World Trade Expo Center in Guangzhou, by Industry Association of South China Entertainment Equipment (SCEE), all the major Chinese lighting and audio manufacturers participated.

In fact, PR Lighting increased their presence by taking two large 108sq.m stands this year - one booth dedicated to professional lighting, the other strictly to entertainment lighting. Said sales director, Ernie Armas, "This not only demonstrated the strength of PR Lighting - by being able to show over 350 working units - but enabled visitors to see our products from a different perspective."

Aside from the busy footfall that dominated their stands during the four days of the show, the week effectively started for the Chinese manufacturer the day before, when many delegates visited the factory, and continued right through until 8 April. "At its peak we were receiving150 visitors a day," Armas reported.

And the reason for this had largely to do with the new discharge and LED ranges being previewed. While they were able to gauge market feedback on pre-production versions of the XR 330 Framing and XR 470 Beam, PR Lighting could also present already launched additions to the popular XR series, in the form of the XR 1000 Framing and XR 130 Beam. The Framing version of the XR 330 high-output moving head, which has adopted PR patented technology, combines advanced 330 watts lamp technology with superb optical system.

The new LED product that caught the eye was the XLED 250 Beam, being shown for the first time and also for release later in the year. This is equipped with a 70W white LED lamp (with brightness equal to 250W discharge light) and can provide a 4.3° beam light. Weighing just 4.1kg, and offering pan and tilt and sound operation, this innovative fixture lined up alongside the recently launched XLED 3007 ad XRLED 700 Spot.

"We received exactly the reaction we were hoping for to these new products as we head over to Europe for Prolight+Sound in Germany," summarised Ernie Armas.
