CRC is a multicultural and multiracial church with more than 90 Churches Nationally and Internationally
South Africa - Pastors At and Nyretta Boshoff are the founders of Christian Revival Church (CRC). Pastor At, as visionary leader has grown CRC to one of the largest churches locally and globally over the past 22 years. CRC is a multigenerational, multicultural and multiracial church with more than 90 Churches Nationally and Internationally.
CRC and DWR Distribution go way back to 2006, when DWR had the opportunity to work on the first CRC Church in Bloemfontein (established in 1994). The CRC Pretoria Auditorium was completed three years ago, a magnificent building with a seating capacity of 6200 seats, where DWR yet again designed and installed all lighting equipment.
To accommodate the rapid expansion, CRC recently opened a new building in the North of Bloemfontein, this being an extension of the existing 5,500 seater auditorium in the South of Bloemfontein. Pastor At wanted an excellent technical solution to create the required atmosphere. At the starting point of any project, 3D renderings are being produced by DWR and presented to Pastor At for approval and changes to accommodate the specific requirements for Church Praise & worship as well as television broadcast. “The end-result was creating a functional lighting solution that can be a backbone for more technology in years to come,” said Robert.
“DWR have been privileged to work on three main auditoriums for the church over the past ten years,” said Robert Izzett who headed the installation with assistance from his right-hand man, Keith Pugin and a diligent crew. “We worked on the Bloemfontein main campus, then at Pretoria, and now at this new venue which is a miniature version of its predecessors with its wedge shape and raked seating.”
DWR Distribution were commissioned to install a lighting solution which had to be ready for the official opening held in January 2017. Control is via MA on PC Command Wing. The moving lights comprise of Robin Spiiders and Robin miniPointes, while Philips Selecon SPX Axial 19 Degree and various LED Pars are used for generic lighting and truss warmers.
