IFD's Janus Eco-Design designation seeks to promote products with reduced environmental impact
France - Christie MicroTiles receieved 'Eco-Design' honours from the IFD at the Janus awards ceremony held in Paris at the French Economic, Social and Environmental Council recently. In attendance were governmental ministers Frédéric Lefèbvre and Pierre Lellouche, the heads of the Ministries of Commerce (for Craft Industries, Small Businesses, Tourism, Services, Professionals and Consumption), and International Trade, respectively.

Supported by the Agency for Environmental and Energy Management (ADEME), the IFD's Janus Eco-Design designation seeks to promote products and services with reduced environmental impact, beginning with the selection of materials, through the manufacturing stage, the product's distribution and use by the consumer, all the way to the end of its useful life.

Introduced to the EMEA market in February 2010, Christie MicroTiles have already received five awards.
