The Netherlands - ELC Lighting, manufacturer of Ethernet networking solutions and DMX tools and the award-winning Green-GO digital intercom system, enjoyed a successful Integrated Systems Europe exhibition in Amsterdam and “unprecedented levels” of interest in its product ranges.
The company, based in Gemert in The Netherlands, was on home territory at ISE. On the booth, and being continuously demo’d for visitors, were its popular new ELC GBX Distribution System, which is specifically tailored for live entertainment applications, and its revolutionary Ethernet-based Green-GO digital intercom systems, which have rapidly established a reputation for audio clarity, simplicity of use and robust reliability.
As well as welcoming its growing family of distribution partners from across Europe, the team noted the greatly increased awareness and understanding of ELC and Green-GO products among visitors to ISE this year.
“Visitors always used to ask, ‘What is this?’ and then, ‘Oh yes, that’s clever!’, but that doesn’t happen anymore,” says ELC’s Silvio Cibien. “Everyone knows about the products now, and they have more detailed questions about solutions for their own projects and for their customers. At ISE, we were having those conversations with visitors all day long.”
With this increased market knowledge of the innovative ELC and Green-GO product ranges, the brands are seeing healthy expansion in their global sales networks. But, says Cibien, that growth is directed with a clear priority. “As a business, our focus is always on quality, not quantity. When we speak with a potential new partner, we want to know that they will provide the best standard of service for their customers, not that they will hit a certain sales figure.”
He adds: “We are building a quality network. Our aim is to have as many possible territories in the world where people know the product, and where the expertise and support is available if someone has a question, or a problem, or is interested in finding out more.”
The company will next exhibit its technologies at the Prolight+Sound exhibition in Frankfurt in April.
