Chichester Festival Theatre's temporary home
UK - With their main theatre building in darkness during a two year, £22m refurbishment project, Chichester Festival Theatre have turned to event production company Entourage Live to oversee the construction and delivery of their temporary theatre-in-a-tent venue for the summer of 2013.

The state-of-the-art 1,400 seat venue has been built to provide an alternative space whilst the main theatre building is redeveloped as part of the Chichester Festival Theatre 'RENEW' project.

The Theatre in the Park venue plays host to Cameron Mackintosh's Barnum. "This is a great project to be involved with" commented Entourage Live managing director Andy Bartlett. "It's key that we work with all parties and stakeholders on a project of this size. We're working with the tent and site designers, production management, company management and the show's producers."

"We're delighted to be working with Entourage" says Dan Watkins, project director at Chichester Festival Theatre. "They have unrivalled experience in the delivery of a venue project of this nature - we can safely leave all the nuts and bolts to them."

The construction period has been overseen by Rob Haworth for Entourage Live, who are no stranger to tented theatre shows - the company has recently helped London based Three Sixty Entertainment stage their show Peter Pan in London's Kensington Gardens followed by a US tour for which they oversaw the set up and delivery. "This was quickly followed by The Lion, the Witch & The Wardrobe back in Kensington Gardens for the summer of 2012" added Haworth. "In the beautiful surroundings of one of London's premier Royal Parks, we enjoyed a successful 18 week run of shows".

Entourage Live manage all aspects of the site infrastructure, working alongside designers, producers and venue teams to create venues which are world class, finished to a high standard and are comfortable for the audience goers. For Theatre in the Park Entourage have once again teamed up with the tent and site designers, and overall project managers the Theatre Tent, a company run by the co-founder of Three Sixty Entertainment, Matthew Churchill.
