ETC's stand at PLASA 2009
UK - ETC's range of lighting, dimming and control products continues to expand and evolve with an impressive number of software and product updates on display at this year's PLASA show. The company's complete range of control desks will be available for demonstration, along with the PLASA Award winning Selador LED fixture line, Unison Paradigm building control system and SmartSolutions portable dimming.

Featuring the patented x7 Color System, the six different Selador LED models produce a light and colour quality that conventional LED systems cannot duplicate, says the company. The latest addition to the Selador range, which will be on show at PLASA, is Vivid Pearl, producing high output true whites from 3200oK and up and specifically suited for TV, alongside a new and improved Vivid-R, which now produces 50% more light than previous models - while consuming 10% less power.

In addition to the Selador Series, ETC will be showing models from the Eos, Congo and SmartFade control desk families, including software updates. Eos V1.95 software includes the new Virtual Media Server for Eos and Ion - a tool for easy programming of LED arrays or arrays of fixtures to create large scale graphic images or effects. Congo V6.1 provides an improved colour engine including the Colour Picker known from Eos alongside better support for calibrated fixture templates. There is also an update for the SmartFade range of desks, proving that small and budget conscious venues are not ignored: V3.0 means that SmartFade ML will now be able to utilise the full feature set of LED fixtures with up to 7 colour parameters.

Part of the Unison range of control products, Paradigm brings sophisticated and green-minded technologies to theatre house and foyer lighting control as well as rehearsal spaces, offices and even the external lighting of entertainment facilities. The system activates sophisticated houselight looks at the touch of a button, running moving lights and LED effects as well as conventionals. New V1.2 software includes Colour Picker functionality and improved Timed Event editing tools.

All this, plus the latest editions to the popular Source Four range of luminaires - new Outdoor Source Four HID 70W and 150W 15º-30º fixtures in a compact industrial design - will be on show and available for demonstration on ETC's PLASA stand, number 1-G39, beside the bar and business lounge in the centre of Hall 1.
