The time had come to replace their lighting console with a more technically advanced model especially as the venue recently acquired some moving lights.
After a thorough research of the market, technical manager Cally Bartley found herself drawn to the ETC range of lighting control consoles.
"I was interested in the Eos and Ion consoles but I was told there was a new console coming out that sits between them and would be ideal," she commented. "ETC has a fabulous reputation in the lighting fraternity and in conversation with other technical managers I discovered many were taking on the Eos family. There's a reason why so many have taken up this product.
"My technicians are certainly excited by group functions and the ability to map the faders. At the same time we purchased some moving head lights so they are learning about the capabilities of moving lights and the ETC Gio has made that a straightforward process."
