Portugal - Europalco staged the 2024 sales convention for the Super Bock Group, the largest Portuguese beverage company. Agency No More organised this event, bringing together 800 attendees at the Sala Tejo in Lisbon.
The 2024 sales convention sought to celebrate and inspire the Super Bock sales team, and No More chose Europalco to bring this vision to life. The preparation for this event took approximately two months and involved a team of 40 Europalco professionals.
The event’s theme, ‘Explorers’, aimed to transport the audience through various exploration scenarios, such as mountains, oceans, and space. The main challenge was to design a screen capable of immersing the audience in these dynamic environments. The solution was an impressive 180-degree screen design that enveloped more than half of the audience, measuring approximately 60 linear meters with a projection height of 6.5m.
Eight Christie Boxer 4K30 projectors powered the visual experience, ensuring clarity and brightness. Europalco used the Christie Spyder X80 2416 and a Pandora Box Octo 4K server for video processing and show control.
One of the event highlights was the size and quality of the projection screen. The 60-meter projection screen was the central element of the stage design, providing a panoramic backdrop that changed to reflect the different exploration scenarios. This innovative use of space and technology allowed the audience to feel part of the journey as if they were climbing mountains, diving into oceans, or sailing through space.
The feedback from the Super Bock Group was ‘overwhelmingly positive’. The client expressed satisfaction with the overall execution and the immersive experience created by Europalco.
Pedro Magalhães, founder and CEO of Europalco, said: "The successful collaboration with Agency No More for the Super Bock event serves as a shining example of what can be achieved when creativity and technology come together." He added: "We have proven once again that we can deliver extraordinary experiences that resonate with audiences and exceed client expectations.”
