Germany - Brother, Brother & Sons has developed the EvenLED as a modular panel of 16 high power 6 watt RGB LEDs spaced evenly behind a standard backprojekction screen, which creates an even light field over the entire surface. Driven by the built in controller, EvenControl, a 16-bit resolution for each colour is possible. Not only saturated colours but also fine tinted colours can be achieved. Its also possible to control every single pixel/LED separately, says the company.

The EvenLED (100 x100cm) can be built to different specifications. The maximum number of modules is vertically limited by 12, but horizontally unlimited. Depending on the back projection screen, the average distance is 300mm. Additional features of the EvenLED are the low power consumption (150W), the very low maintenance, the low weight and heat and the long lifetime. Special flightcases for eight modules including brackets and cables are available.
