Europe - ISE 2025 returns to Fira de Barcelona Gran Via from 4-7 February 2025, offering a platform to connect with industry leaders, innovators, and peers.
With a wide range of categories and the experiential Audio Demo Room feature, ISE 2025 covers all technologies essential in creating impactful live events including stage lighting, rigging and staging equipment, loudspeakers, DIVA control consoles, spatial audio, holography, video mapping, intercom systems and more. ISE 2025 will showcase the tools and solutions that are driving the industry forward.
A ticket to ISE 2025 grants attendees access to eight expansive halls, including the newly added Hall 8.1. There are seven distinct Technology Zones and the Innovation Park, where startups showcase their groundbreaking ideas on the Pitching Stage.
ISE 2025 features an expanded Lighting and Staging Zone, now in Hall 6, where the latest trends and innovations will be on show from brands including Prolights, MA Lighting, Cameo, Beamz and Robe.
The Discovery Zone offers an opportunity to meet new ISE exhibitors and experience the expanded Audio Demo Rooms and Outdoor Sound Experience. ISE’s new Tracks programme features sessions on industry megatrends like AI, Audio, Cybersecurity, Retail, and Sustainability.
To provide greater flexibility, ISE now offers a Day Pass, allowing visitors to access all Summits and Track sessions taking place on a single day. Additionally, the AVIXA Congreso, featuring sessions in Spanish, is free to attend.
The Live Events Stage at ISE 2025, sponsored by MA, promises to be a must-visit destination for professionals in the live events industry. Situated in Hall 6 within the Lighting & Staging Zone, this stage will feature a dynamic three-day programme of free-to-attend sessions led by industry experts. With thought leaders sharing insights across audio, lighting, video, staging, and special effects, the sessions are designed to equip live events professionals with valuable knowledge and inspiration, showcasing the latest trends and technologies shaping the future of the industry.
The Live Events Stage will feature a line-up of expert speakers, including Burton Ishmael, FOH engineer for Post Malone and Madonna, who will discuss his approach to live mixing and reveal some of his ‘go-to’ workflows. Additionally, industry representatives will highlight the detrimental impact of counterfeit products in the live events industry and explain why counterfeiting is an issue of which we should all be aware.
Stuart McPherson, CEO of KB Events and Paul Schurink of Showpower will be discussing the hot topic Sustainability versus Live Events, exploring eco-friendly touring solutions from alternative fuels to generator replacements; and John 'JP' Partridge of Celestial will be looking at the dynamic world of special effects, covering everything from Flames to Flying Objects.
Hosted by Stew Hume of TPi, the programme runs from Tuesday to Thursday from 10.30am to 5pm. On Friday, the Live Events stage will be hosted by Hannah Eakins, CEO of Production Futures, who is an advocate for diversity and employability in the industry. The last day of the show will focus on careers, talent, and how to get a job in AV. The Production Futures Takeover will provide a destination for networking, inspiration, and career growth in the live events and broadcast technology industry. This is an excellent opportunity for newcomers to gain access and opportunities in production.
The Opening Keynote presented by AI futurist Brian Solis will explore the potential of AI in the pro AV and systems integration industry. Solis’ keynote address is set to be an essential destination for attendees eager to discover why now is the time for business leaders to rethink their organisations for an AI-defined future.
On Wednesday 5 February, Italian digital artist Quayola will give the Creative Keynote presentation. He will be providing insights into his groundbreaking projects, including the mesmerising Arborescent projection mapping experience on Casa Batlló, which takes place on 1 and 2 February as the next edition of ISE kicks off in Barcelona.
