UK expansion at ETC sees the appointment of project manager, Iain Quinn and field service engineer, Martin Savage. Taking over from David Gray following his relocation to Italy as field project manager, Iain Quinn has a wealth of experience in the industry - his most recent position was as project manager at Fisher Productions, with further experience including lighting design assistant for The Lion King at the Lyceum, senior lighting technician and maintenance coordinator at the Millennium Dome and second production electrician on the Return to the Forbidden Planet UK tour.

Based in ETC's West London office, Iain is currently working on large-scale project in Germany, dealing with logistics, ensuring all parts and products are delivered to specification and that the resulting systems operate effectively.

Also based in the West London office, Martin Savage, appointed as field service engineer, will provide technical support and service. His main strengths include his knowledge of WYSIWYG, a product he has been using for many years, in particular at the Millennium Dome. This knowledge will transfer to Emphasis, the latest product from ETC and Cast Lighting, the developer of WYSIWYG. A versatile lighting technician, Savage's experience includes being part of the installation team on board Rhapsody of the Seas for Royal Caribbean International, plus, most recently, working in technical sales at A.C. Lighting, offering demonstrations, training and product support to existing and potential customers.

In the USA, another new member of the team is Ben Sandford, previously of Cast Lighting, now employed by ETC as Marketing Product Manager for WYSIWYG. Located in Toronto, Canada, Sandford is well known in the industry in Europe and will remain up-to-date with the WYSIWYG development process, responsible for all WYSIWYG related marketing issues, training sessions and tradeshow demonstrations. He will also be responsible for assisting other departments with procedure and policy questions, as well as for developing product requirements for quarterly updates.
