Focus-Series loudspeakers provide the solution for seamlessly integrating a sound reinforcement system into an architectural setting
The Netherlands - At this year's Integrated Systems Europe in Amsterdam, Fohhn Audio AG (Hall 7, Stand 7-D177) will present the company's latest developments in digital technology and system integration, along with new design opportunities for Fohhn line source loudspeakers.

With a focus on audio network compatibility driving development during 2016, Fohhn will be showing the current models in its award-winning Linea Focus series with Beam Steering capabilities, which are equipped for networking via an Optocore fibre solution. A new 16-channel Dante to AES/EBU interface will also be previewed at the show.

In readiness for achieving future compatibility with all digital audio networks, the company has also announced that, going forward, all its active loudspeaker systems, amplifiers and controllers will be equipped with digital transformer-balanced AES/EBU inputs (AES-3 standard). This can already be seen on the first model in Fohhn's next-generation series of high-performance digital amplifiers, equipped with AES/EBU inputs and integrated digital signal processors. The new amplifier offers a power capability of 2 x 2000 W / 4 Ohm.

Introducing its latest range of loudspeakers aimed at the installation market, Fohhn will also show the new Linea LEN systems that form the Voice Alarm-Series - passive 100V, EN 54-24 Type B certified loudspeaker systems with weatherproof housing, designed for use with voice alarm systems.

Renowned for their slender appearance and powerful beam steering capabilities, Fohhn's Focus-Series loudspeakers provide the solution for seamlessly integrating a sound reinforcement system into an architectural setting. This is now made even more effective with the introduction of a new, exclusive printing technology that enables Fohhn to give its loudspeaker systems (with aluminium housing up to 1.5 m in length) a new "look". In addition to the current range of RAL colours and gloss levels, a vast number of photorealistic finishes - from wood and marble to sandstone - will be available. This presents architects and designers with a wealth of new system integration possibilities, says the company.

The show provides a further opportunity to see Fohhn's innovative AIREA system. Here, visitors will have an opportunity to experience live the 3-D sound system developed in cooperation with IOSONO.
