UK - Fuzion plc have taken over the UK distriibution of Compulite digital lighting control desks, dimmers (and associated lighting products) with immediate effect. Under Stagetec Distribution, the Israel-based company's penetration of the UK market has gone from strength to strength over the past few years, claiming hundreds of installations in theatres, TV studios, schools and colleges up and down the country. It has been particularly successful with the Vector range of consoles, the company reports, which are currently used on major TV productions such as Big Brother, X-Factor, Dancing on Ice and many more.

Andrew Stone from Stagetec Distribution, the Compulite UK distributor for the past 11 years, comments: "After many years of distributing the Compulite range in the UK we have been looking for some time into ways of increasing sales in the UK market. After careful consideration and research we approached Fuzion plc, already an established distribution company, to discuss the possibility of them becoming the new UK distributor for Compulite. An agreement has now been reached where Fuzion will take over the UK distribution with immediate effect. With their established distribution structure and dealer network we are certain that this will move Compulite on to new levels in the UK."

Fuzion's brand manager for Compulite will be the experienced David Stewart, who has been a lighting professional for nearly 20 years, working with leading companies such as Stage Electrics, Martin Professional and Vari-Lite prior to joining Fuzion plc last year.

Having operated in many aspects of the event and touring industry during this time Stewart is well aware of Compulite. "The company has a well established catalogue of stage and television control products and dimmers, and is a perfect fit within our expanding portfolio. We look forward to working with Andrew and to increasing Compulite's market share within both the consolidated and emerging sectors."

As part of the arrangement, Andrew Stone will work with Fuzion, providing his knowledge and experience gained with Compulite over the last 20 years.
