With its contemporary design Iberia LED offers improved visual acuity, better vertical luminance, and smoother visual transition which allows for positive enhancement on property visibility and pedestrian awareness, as well as better vertical illumination, says the company.
Considerable energy savings are achieved due to its advanced no-shielding design, which achieves lower light trespass whilst delivering light precisely where it is intended to go. The long life of LED's (50,000 hours i.e. up to 10 years) is particularly suited to the public lighting domain where maintenance costs have to be kept to a minimum.
GE Lighting's Ana Cantero says, "With the increasing need to provide energy savings and reduce costs of maintenance, the Iberia is an ideal solution for amenity lighting. GE's award winning LED technology with its strong lighting power density and photometrics, together with the Iberia's contemporary design ensure that once again we are leading the way in delivering high quality, innovative and environmentally conscientious LED solutions."
