Artecom in Berlin and Dresden, Babbel + Haeger in Bergneustadt, Hermes Music in Kamen, Veranstaltungstechnik Linke in Leipzig and NPB Veranstaltungstechnik in Neunkirchen are the Geo D pioneers. Reflecting the different specialisations of all these companies, the Geo D systems are already being deployed in a wide variety of applications, from corporate and industrial events to live music and sport.
Three companies - Artecom, Hermes and NPB - have been using Geo D for events that were part of the World Cup Football Championships, and Veranstaltungstechnik Linke took Geo D to the Hessentag in Leipzig for the Bach Festival.
Camco's Reinhard Steger is pleased with the early take-up, and sees Geo D providing new opportunities and new customers for Nexo. "We are recommending system configurations of between four and 12 Geo D10 cabinets per side. Because the system can be so effective with just four cabinets per side, it is also ideal for young companies. To launch the Nexo Geo D system in Germany, Camco is providing special seminars geared specifically to the product. It is a line array with a neutral sound that can be precisely calculated and operated, enabling it to provide a broad range of different events with first class sound, as the excellent feedback we received from the first seminar participants has confirmed. Geo D is going to provide our customers, and consequently ourselves as well, with a great deal of enjoyment."
