Simon Harris, a familiar face in the AV industry has been with Green Hippo for over six years, first joining as part of the sales team in a company of six, he quickly took on the role of head of training.
This December Harris takes on his new role as user experience manager bringing in new responsibilities. Harris is now the 'point of call', managing the interaction between users and the products and with his vast technical knowledge bridging the gap between end-users and development.
Ryan Brown, who joined the company just over a year ago, making his debut at the 2012 PLASA show London, started as a product specialist, also working with support and testing. After quickly establishing himself as a confident and technical individual, matched with his character, the promotion of his role into product manager has opened up a new direction for the Hippotizer range.
Brown now manages the production and development of all Hippotizer products and looks forward to the coming year. "Working at Green Hippo continues to be a fantastic opportunity for me as well as being great fun. The wide variety of users worldwide, as well as the fast pace of AV technology, makes sure the job of managing the development of Hippotizer is never boring."
Joining the Green Hippo team is Emma Marlow who joins as general manager, handling the day to day and long term running of the business and... also keeping the Hippos in check. "Green Hippo is a pedigree company in an exciting and evolving industry, and I'm thrilled to be helping Green Hippo evolve and expand to the next stage. There is a deep technical ability and a love for the industry in the people that can't be faked or copied," says Marlow.
