The new JBL VP (Venue Performance) Series is described as "a best-in-class powered loudspeaker system family", and is intended to fulfil a wide range of professional installation and portable touring applications. The series of two and three way cabinets and a sub, integrates proven Differential Drive transducers, a 'next generation' high frequency compression driver, and JBL DrivePack technology, developed in conjunction with Crown. Key features include onboard DSP, HiQnet networking functionality, and a wide assortment of rigging options.
Crown International is launching the all new XTi two channel, networkable power amplifier series, comprising the XTi 1000, XTi 2000, and XTi4000 models, providing 500, 700, and 1200W per channel (into 4 ohms), respectively. These amplifiers incorporate many of Crowns latest design innovations, providing a world-class sounding, lightweight amplifier, featuring on-board DSP and computer control, at a new highly competitive price point.
