The Hobbit – Battle of the Five Armies premiered at the Leicester Square Odeon
UK - Digital Insanity's Richard Bagshaw works on a wide variety of projects, from music festivals to movie premieres, and uses his Hippotizer media servers on projects week after week to great effect and success.

The last few weeks have brought a couple of prominent movie premieres to London's Leicester Square and Digital Insanity were all over the high profile red-carpet gala, which saw dozens of Hollywood stars grace the cobbles outside the Odeon Cinema.

The Interstellar world premiere took place on Wednesday 29 October with stars such as Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway and director Christopher Nolan in attendance.

The red carpet set up was created in two parts with the entrance showing off a curved LED screen made up using VER's Win9 air screen but further down at the end of the red carpet was the jewel of the premier, a 14m tall by 4m wide LED screen! Both set-ups were displaying special Interstellar movie and trailer content.

Following on from this came the hugely anticipated The Hobbit - Battle of the five armies world premiere on Monday 1 December, once again at the Leicester Square Odeon in London and with the likes of Ian McKellan, Orlando Bloom, Martin Freeman and Director Peter Jackson gracing the red carpet.

The set-up for this premiere was a mind-blowing journey to the entrance with 34x 1.8m*3.6m VER Win9 air screens lined up across the north side, corner and east sides of Leicester Square.

The approximately 220sqm of screens were fed from oneHippotizer HD with a dual output running graphic content and looks, that included various poster campaigns and trailers along with video chases made up of trailer content, running around the square.

For both event all graphics, visual effects and playback were controlled, programmed and operated by Digital Insanity.
