With special attention paid to both the styling and performance of these fixtures, the Idea line offers a high level of performance using a Philips MSD 250/2 lamp (luminous flux 18,000 lumens, colour temperature 8,500°K - Spot 250 and Wash 250) - or a Philips MSR 575/2 lamp (luminous flux 49,000 lumens, colour temperature 5,600°K - Spot 575 and Wash 575).
The Idea Spot 250 has a 13° beam angle (18° and 21° on request), while the Idea Spot 575 has three selectable beam angles (13°, 18° and 21°). The Idea Wash 250 and IDEA Wash 575 are equipped with a motorized zoom which allows linear beam adjustment between 13°-23° (Wash 250) and 16°-28° (Wash 575). Thanks to the motorized focus (Idea Spot 250 and Idea Spot 575), projected images can be kept in focus at any projection angle and from any distance, say SGM.
Idea Spot 250 and Idea Spot 575 are fitted with a colour wheel with eight colours plus white, with dichroic filters with high chromatic yeld. The Idea Wash 250 and Idea Wash 575 offer a CMY colour generation system integrated by a colour wheel with six colours plus white, and two conversion filters (3,200°K and 5,600°K), which enable to obtain an endless range of colours.
The Wash versions invlude beam-shaper and frost functions, while the Spot versions Include a wheel containing seven gobos (two dichroic, five metal) which are bi-directional, indexable and interchangeable.Besides the built-in gobos, five additional metal gobos are also supplied. The Spot versions are also equipped with a three-facet bi-directional rotating prism. In all the fixtures, a new electronics system ensures precise and smooth movement (pan 540° / tilt 320°) and high speed. Automatic repositioning of the fixtures is guaranteed by a dedicated Encoder.
Finally, the Idea moving heads are equipped with an internal microcomputer that enables the user to customize the fixture in the manner most suited to the type of installation. By means of the built-in LED display it's possible to control every parameter of the fixtures' operation: DMX addresses, Pan and Tilt movements, motor calibration, fan speed control, lamp and projector life, etc.
