The new additions include the Raccoon Junior P4/7

Europe - Highlite has announced the expansion of the popular Infinity Raccoon Series with the introduction of four new members to the family: Raccoon P7/7, Raccoon Junior P4/7, Raccoon Junior P7/4, Raccoon S420/4 and Raccoon W40/4.

Designed to meet the demanding requirements of high-end lighting applications, the Infinity Raccoon Series offers “unparalleled performance, advanced control options and rugged IP65 construction, making it a serious contender for professionals in TV studios, theatres, museums and more”.

The Infinity Raccoon Series features meticulous attention to detail in colour calibration, advanced control features and robust build quality. Each fixture in the range offers a wealth of features designed to deliver exceptional lighting experiences, setting new standards for the industry.

The series has been intelligently structured with a naming scheme that simplifies understanding. The Raccoon Pars are available in both large and small housings, using either four or seven colour LEDs. The distinction is clear: ‘P’ stands for ‘Par’, while the numbers indicate the number of LEDs and colours in each fixture. In addition, the Raccoon S420/4 with 420 RGBW LEDs combines strobe and wash effects to provide a dynamic lighting solution for a variety of applications, while the Raccoon W40/4 offers copious wash effects from its 40 RGBM LEDs.

All Raccoon Pars share common features such as high brightness and superior colour rendering, IP65 rating, seamless switching between maximum brightness and high colour quality modes, calibration standards aligned to the Infinity Signature Series for high colour consistency, versatile control options including xy mode, DMX, RDM and manual modes, an advanced software engine that ensures stable colour output under varying conditions and flicker-free performance with adjustable PWM frequency and consistent behaviour across fixtures. The main differences are the overall brightness, the number of colours in the LED light source and the size of the housing.

The Raccoon S420/4 offers combined strobe and wash effects with a beam angle of 110°. Its wash effects deliver up to 30,400 lumens and use white LEDs with a high CRI of 92. The ultra-bright strobe effect is powered by 35 CW LEDs that deliver over 72,000 lumens in strobe mode and over 54,200 lumens in continuous mode.

With over 41,400 lumens, the Raccoon W40/4 produces powerful wash effects from its 15-watt RGBM LEDs. It offers five individually controllable sections and a 10° beam angle, while using a high 12,000Hz refresh rate.

In addition to the core fixtures, a range of accessories are available including barndoors, top hats, filter frames, diffusion filters and more, adding to the versatility of the Raccoon series.

Commenting on the expansion, Peter Buckx, product manager at Highlite, says: “We are making a statement with these new Raccoons. We’ve worked tirelessly to ensure that every aspect, from hardware to software, meets our stringent standards. It has been a team effort and we couldn’t be more proud of the results.”
