Belgium - With five weeks to go before the start of Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) 2006 at the Brussels Expo (1-3 February) the organizers report that the show is now practically sold out, and will be more than twice the size of the 2005 event.

Mike Blackman, managing director of ISE 2006, says that ISE is more than just an exhibition: "AV and Electronic Systems integration is about stimulating the senses to reflect the growing use of digital signage in retail and corporate environments and custom residential systems. At ISE we will be breaking new ground in staging a series of spectacular visual displays and pavilions, which are strategically, placed throughout the exhibition halls."

Highlights of the exhibition will include the Lighting & Staging Pavilion, presented by PLASA and ISE, and the ISE Manufacturer's Forum, which will offer 45-minute sessions on topical issues, led by exhibitors.

The Large Venue Display Area will feature leading projection and display solutions, and the Outdoor LED Park will "light up the skyline of Brussels" with large LED video screens on display. The Residential Solutions Arena will cover the home theatre and systems integration industry. Visitors will also be able to see multimedia conferencing from, amongst others, Sony, Tandberg, Vaddio and ClearOne Communications. Polycom will also be showing a range of solutions from desktop - to complete boardroom solutions.

In addition to the exhibits, ISE promises "a distinguished line-up" of presenters, panellists and speakers for its conference. Focusing on market research and trends for the professional audio-visual and residential sectors, leading industry analysts will outline the emerging technologies and innovations in this growing and vibrant market. "We are delighted to have such a diverse range of leading and influential figures including executives, directors and analysts in the industry," says Mike Blackman.

Scott Wills from InfoComm will be offering a Certification Prep class for AV technicians, offering that vital first step towards InfoComm certification. He will also be running special sessions on Designing and Specifying Display Systems and Distributed Sound Systems.Understanding projection screen technologies and their overall integration into the system and design will be tackled by Don Stewart from Stewart Film Screen, while Ingolf deJong from General Communications Inc will cover the vital role of Transitioning from Contractor to Integrator, as well as a session on 'Killer Proposal Writing'.

Visitors who pre-register via the show's website can gain fast-track entry, saving money on the entrance fee and avoid form filling and queuing on the day.
