ISE 2017: NEC adds LCD laser-based projectors
- Details
Designed with minimal maintenance in mind, the two new laser projectors also boast a fully-sealed optical engine, allowing brightness levels to remain high and consistent without risk of dust-based ingress and image degradation.
Other key features and benefits include high lumen output (8,000 ANSI lumens from the PA803UL, 6,500 ANSI lumens from the PA653UL), highly flexible installation options with 360 degree positioning support in any direction. The projectors also feature motorised zoom and focus, interchangeable lens options and superb readability of images thanks to the combination of WUXGA resolution support, 4K60Hz image signal processing and Rec2020 colour conversion.
“The addition of the PA803UL and PA653UL laser projectors to the PA Series builds on our successful range of solutions for commercial and professional environments such as museums, meeting rooms and high-end education as well as the rental sector,” said Gerd Kaiser, product line manager large venue projectors at NEC Display Solutions Europe.
“Filterless operation represents not only a new technical achievement in projector design, it delivers significant reliability and operational expenditure benefits for our customers in these sectors. With no filter to change, downtime is reduced, while engineer visits and the associated disruption of gaining access to the projector for filter work are eliminated.”
