Spain - Dali introduced two new products in Barcelona – the Phantom M-80 A in-ceiling speaker and the Phantom CI AMP-4750 DSP amplifier.
Michael Munch, CI business development manager at Dali, says: "The Phantom M-80 A expands the Phantom series and offers more options for discreet in-ceiling installations. The Dali M-80 A offers movie fans a wide range of immersive surround sound possibilities when combined with the existing Phantom range.
“The Phantom CI AMP 4750 DSP is a powerful and smart four-channel DSP amplifier that can be the heart of a home theatre system, but can also be used with traditional Dali hi-fi speakers."
With a Dali designed and SMC equipped 7” bass/mid driver and a 28mm soft dome tweeter, the M-80 A is a high-end Dali speaker for the ceiling.
The Phantom M-80 A in-ceiling Hi-Fi speaker incorporates a 7” bass/midrange driver, angled at 25°, to provide sound radiation that is preferentially beamed in one direction. Preferential beaming enables M-80 A speaker placement that ensures optimum dispersion for the specific audio installation to maximise sound quality at the listening position. The M-80 A also features compass style direction indicators further to configure dispersion to suit the installation.
