Funktion-One’s ISE presence will include product demonstrations and daily presentations

Spain - Funktion-One is set to launch its latest technological developments at Integrated Systems Europe 2025. This includes the F61 loudspeaker; Projection v1.0 system design software (including the wave-based low frequency model); the IP55-rated Compact Range; additions to the Evo 2 product range; and a selection of powerful new bass speakers. Funktion-One invites visitors to Hall 7, Stand K820 for hourly demos starting at 11:25am each day.

In addition to the hourly demos, Funktion-One will host two daily presentations: Projection: Wave-Based Low Frequency Model at 1:30pm and Electroacoustic Energy Efficiency at 3:30pm, offering insights into cutting-edge advancements in sound system prediction modelling and energy-efficient audio solutions.

The F61 follows the same design principles as the popular F81.2 and F101.2 in a smaller form, sitting between the F5.2 and F81.2. The F61 achieves very low distortion and excellent integration between drivers for stable and engaging imaging. In addition to being a very useful installation speaker, the F61 combines with the SB8A or SB10A self-powered bass to form an impressive standalone system.

The full release of Projection v1.0 represents a significant step forward in system design modelling software. Projection offers fast and precise direct sound prediction and rigging calculations for Funktion-One systems. It enables users to quickly build complex venues in 2D, streamlining the design process with an intuitive interface. With Projection, users can seamlessly add arrays, individual loudspeakers and microphones, optimising both mechanical and electronic array settings. The software’s advanced 3D view enables SPL calculations, providing a comprehensive visualisation of the design and allowing for precise adjustments.

Projection features two powerful 3D SPL calculation algorithms, including a new, fast wave-based low-frequency model. This breakthrough technology fully predicts linear wave behaviour, including reflections, diffractions, and occlusions, ensuring accurate performance simulations. For frequencies above 160Hz, the real-time point source model delivers immediate and accurate insights into system behaviour.

Funktion-One founder and R&D director Tony Andrews said: “We are continually evolving, pushing the boundaries, and ISE 2025 provides the perfect platform to showcase our latest advancements in loudspeaker and system design technologies.”
