With immediate effect, the legendary James Thomas Par 64, and all other parcans from the Par 56 down to the PAR16, JTE SpotBanks, CycLites, 8-, 4- and 2-Lites and lighting bars will be exclusively distributed and supported in Europe by AC-ET across its large base of entertainment technology dealers and end users.
"We, and our customers, will benefit from the extensive reach of AC-ET's international business," says Paul Young, JTE's operations director. "The new appointment will ensure JTE lighting products will be more easily available to a wider customer base who will also gain the advantage of immediate support from local companies."
"We are extremely pleased to add James Thomas lighting products to our ever-growing portfolio of premium exclusive entertainment technology products," says Jonathan Walters, AC-ET's UK sales director. "James Thomas lighting products represent an enduring brand of generic lighting that have become an industry standard since their introduction so many years ago. The name has become synonymous with reliability and nothing in the way of new introductions has replaced them."
The new arrangement follows on from the success of AC-ET's existing European exclusivity on all PixelRange products.
The James Thomas range of truss products and special projects services continues to be handled directly by James Thomas Engineering out of its headquarters in Worcester and distributed directly to their existing dealer network.
In addition to JTE's long standing industry stalwarts SuperTruss, GP Truss, SquareLite Truss and Ground Support Towers, the company has recently introduced its new light-weight JT Truss range which has already toured the summer festivals in Graham Leesmith's creative design for singer/rapper, Example.
Last month saw the expansion of the JT Truss range to include triangular and ladder sections and an 'out of the box' arched roof assembly for fast solutions in event and exhibition applications.
"Our truss ranges can be adapted for all kinds of uses and are so specific to each project that direct communication with our customers is the best way to ensure fast and accurate results,' says Young. "We believe customers can get the most benefit from our years of experience by talking directly to our team of specialists for advice on their custom projects. We like to work closely with them as part of their team to make sure they get the results they need in the timeframe and budget available to them."
