UK - JFMG (Joint Frequency Management Group) - the engineering consultancy responsible for managing the radio spectrum used in programme making and entertainment, has announced the appointment of Paul Gill to its Board as technology director. Gill was a member of the team which prepared the successful contract bid that led to the establishment of JFMG Ltd. He has extensive experience in spectrum management and his expertise will be vital as Ofcom's proposals for the introduction of Spectrum Trading into programme making are developed.Mike Snalam, chairman of JFMG says: "This appointment reflects the importance the Board places on strategic technology direction as the company prepares for market-based spectrum management."
