He brings a wealth of experience to the company having commenced his career some 28 years ago at Darlington Civic Theatre where he started a technical career in theatre. Following this Hutchinson has worked on numerous musical productions in the UK and across the world, including Fosse, Miss Saigon, Jerry Springer, Blue Man Group, Mamma Mia! and Phantom of the Opera, as well as "over 10,000" pantomines.
Hutchinson commented: "I've always been very impressed with the ethos of Orbital and the way the company has expanded into the organisation it is today - so I'm very proud to be playing a role in the company's on-going success."
