"One of the key elements in the successful transformation of our North American sales and marketing team is to place talented and motivated individuals into leadership positions, and we have done so with the appointment of Leonard", states Julie Smith, general commercial manager for Philips Strand Lighting and Philips Selecon North America.
Based in the Dallas headquarters, Miller brings with him 25 years of professional experience in sales, operations and technical production for live entertainment and events, including theme parks and attractions, trade shows, museums, sports, television, film and cruise lines. He will work closely with Smith and Pete Borchetta, product marketing manager, to form the leadership team that will now guide Philips Strand and Selecon North American sales and marketing.

"I have worked in the entertainment lighting industry as a designer, dealer, and sales manager, and I know a great team when I see one. I sincerely look forward to bringing all my experience to the table to create new and exciting sales opportunities for Philips Strand and Selecon, while continuing to build and strengthen the relationships with all our dealers and distributors across North America."
Additionally, Philips Strand Lighting and Selecon announced the appointment of Kara O'Grady to the position of US Mid-Atlantic regional sales manager, covering the Mid-Atlantic region of New York City, Long Island, New Jersey, Eastern Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, Washington DC and Virginia. O'Grady has an extensive resume in the professional lighting industry which includes East Coast sales manager for Rosco Labs and Production Resource Group's Systems Integration Division.
