Christopher Laffey, from Huddersfield, has also joined tdc and will head up the company's sales division. He has more than 25 years sales experience working for Sony in the broadcast division - 18 years in the installation of audio and video systems.
The appointments come as tdc is currently in discussions about expanding its operations in to Manchester. Eamonn Hunt, director at tdc, said: "We are delighted to welcome Andy and Christopher to the company at what is a very exciting time for tdc. Both have vast amounts of experience and with their expertise I'm sure they will prove to be valuable acquisitions to our growing team.
"It has been another hugely successful year for tdc and these appointments mark a period of significant expansion triggered by an increase in business and desire to improve our output. We are keen to further develop our operations, not only in Sheffield, but across the north of England and we are currently looking to expanding our operations in to Manchester."
