Europe - KV2 Audio has announced the launch of the ESD312 loudspeaker that offers versatility, performance, and precision monitoring for DJs and sound professionals.
Joining KV2’s ES, ESR and SL systems, which have gained popularity with DJs and live performance venues for their low latency, high intelligibility, and improved audio clarity, the new ESD312 delivers a purpose-built, high-powered passive solution tailored for these exacting audio requirements.
Equipped with dual 12” bass reflex-loaded woofers, a 6” horn-loaded midrange, and a 1” compression driver, the ESD312 delivers 3-way versatility whilst utilising just one amplifier channel, combining high output with exceptional clarity. Designed to cover a variety of audio applications, it can function as a DJ Monitor system – providing clear monitoring for the most accurate mixes, as a fill or centre speaker to accompany larger format VHD systems, or as a powerful individual immersive element, adapting and integrating seamlessly into any performance setting.
To enhance flexible deployment, the ESD312 is supported with a dedicated vertical mounting bracket for easy integration with VHD2.18J subwoofers or standalone operation. This modular approach ensures it meets the needs of both touring professionals and permanent installations.
Crafted from robust Baltic Birch and furnished with a durable polymer paint coating and heavy-duty grille, the ESD312 cabinet is built to withstand the rigors of the road, while delivering consistent audio quality, long-term durability, and precision monitoring.
The first installation will take place at Ibiza nightclub, Amnesia, as part of its major summer upgrades which will feature a mobile DJ booth powered by the ESD312 loudspeaker system, showcasing the loudspeaker’s precision monitoring capabilities and full-range performance.
