KV2's operations director Andy Simmons commented: "To have someone of Mick's calibre join our team has already made a difference to everyone here at KV2. Mick's a great personality and his experience in the market would be a substantial asset to any company, but joining KV2 at this exciting time in our development is key to our continuing success in the UK market."
Nerea Legarra-Aguirre has also joined the company in a move back in to the Pro Audio market following a two year stint at exhibition equipment manufacturer Ultima Displays. A familiar face within the industry, she was for a number of years sales administrator at Crest Audio's European sales office in Germany. At KV2 Nerea will be responsible for looking after customer support and sales administration both within the UK and for KV2's international distributors alike - quite a daunting prospect for anyone to consider.
Simmons again commented: "We're delighted to have someone with Nerea's capabilities and experience joining the team. Finding someone who has experience, in a similar role, from within the same industry is a huge benefit for us and it will truly help to cement the expansion plans that we have for the future."
In a separate move, KV2 has set up a separate company, Resolution Distribution, to handle its other UK distributed lines, namely Vieta Pro loudspeakers and Apex signal processing. "Resolution Distribution has been set up so that there is no confusion in the market as to who we are and what we are selling. Because KV2's global operations are handled from our office in Harrogate as well as the UK distribution, it was felt that we should set up a separate company to handle our other distributed lines keeping them separate from our UK KV2 business such that we can market them individually and appropriately," said Simmons.
