The BeamNet series
Germany - Laserworld recently launched their new BeamNET series. Unlike previous show laser lights, the BeamNET are pure effect solutions without beam deflection, but as extra strong single beam units. Two models with single beam output and three bar-style models with 10 parallel beams each are available.

The BeamNET units are designed as easy-to-use solutions to provide additional effects to stages and big shows, without the need of complex control and setup: All BeamNET systems can easily be triggered through DMX/Artnet and allow easy control of every single laser source. The BeamNET Series can be integrated to an existing light show with every kind of common light desks.

As the BeamNET addresses professional applications, the power supply was standardised - and all units get powered through a PoE switch. This means only one LAN cable transports power and control signal. No extra power supply unit is needed.

The ten-in-one laser light consists of a bar of ten diodes. These are available in blue, green and red and provide ten parallel arranged laser beams. Each diode can be controlled individually and thus different chaser effects are possible.

Two models with one beam are available in blue and RGB. The blue version offers a static beam with an output power of up to 2 watts. The white-light solution features two axis servo driven position control. An on-board display allows for quick setup of each node without the need for additional control.

Norbert Stangl, sales and marketing director at Laserworld, comments, "With the BeamNET Series, we want to further extend our product portfolio. It is designed not only as laser light system, but also as an effect solution. With the simple control via DMX or Artnet, it makes the use of laser effects much more comfortable for lighting operators. In initial tests we created impressive effects with multiple bounce mirrors, that made the effect look like a spider web. We are excited about the possibilities that creative lighting designer will come up with."
