USA - US-based laser entertainment technology company Laserwurx, is launching its new LXColor Full Color digital laser projector this month. Laserwurx is the only manufacturer to achieve the stringent CDRH approval for moving yoke lasers in the US, and the latest product follows on from the popular LX1 green only product introduced 2003 at LDI. The new generation LXColor or LXC projectors, promise to deliver the most comprehensive features ever offered in any laser projection system, the company says.

The LXC projectors are offered in a variety of output powers as well as single colour configurations. The flagship model, the LXC 3000, offers 1.5W of white plus an additional 1.5W of green. All LXC projectors retain the highest beam quality possible with specs of <.7mr full angle divergence and 3mm diameter, say Laserwurx.

The LXC projectors incorporate the most advanced imaging system available for laser projection, say Laserwurx, offering more detail and information than ever before. Even video files from media servers or any video source can now be displayed with the new 'Digital Raster Scanning' function.

All LXC units ship as complete playback and programming systems, and powerful content creation tools are included with every unit. LXC units can be controlled via DMX or operated in a stand-alone mode, without the need for additional hardware. The LXC digital laser projector is air-cooled and requires no maintenance or alignment, say the company.
