UK - In December 2009 Richard Box and Mick Birchall will attempt to row 2900 miles across the Atlantic Ocean as part of the 'Atlantic Rowing Race 2009'

Le Mark Group's Kraken Tape will form an important part of their emergency tool kit. Richard & Mick will crucially rely on a water maker powered by solar panels. Should this fail, the two rowers will rely on their own ability to fix and repair their equipment in extreme conditions, as best they can.

Kraken Tape will be on board ready to repair pipes, ropes and electrical connections. It can even be applied wet as it will still self fuse to give a "flexible seal that is 100% waterproof".

Kraken Tape has been tested to meet the stringent standards of WRAS, is completely safe to use and will not contaminate their precious drinking water, says the company.

Kraken Tape and the Le Mark Team are extremely proud to be able to support Richard & Mick. For every purchase made at the National Boat, Caravan & Outdoor Show (held at NEC Birmingham 17-22 February), 5% of the value will be paid to the Oarsome Challenge and its nominated charity the NSPCC.

Visit stand 3248a at the NBC&O show for more information.
