Its Follow-Me 3D and Follow-Me Track-iT technologies allow users to merge and integrate with any lighting console, video, sound and automation system on the market.

The Follow-Me 3D system is independent from any fixture manufacturer and can control any lighting fixture that can pan and tilt. Fixtures can be used not only as follow-spots, but also as general lighting and effects, while multiple fixtures can be allocated per performer using a single system. UK - Through pioneering a new entry-level qualification, Poole’s Lighthouse is highlighting offstage roles to young people interested in exploring careers in theatre and live events.

Working with the Association of British Theatre Technicians (ABTT) Lighthouse will host a pilot of the new Copper Award, created to recognise the achievements of initial entrants in the industry by engaging them in introductory training into backstage jobs.

The pilot is being run as part of the Young Technicians course at Lighthouse from next month and is already underway at the Southbank Centre in London as part of its Technical Academy.

Europe - After 21 years, Robe outgoing global sales director Ingo Dombrowski will step away from the business and retire from active duties at the end of 2025.

Dombrowski joined Robe in 2004 initially as business development manager, then became a key account manager for Europe helping to manage a period of rapid growth for the company, which saw it jump from being the aspiring ‘new kid on the block’ to a global market leader in moving light and LED technology. “It’s been an absolutely incredible journey,” Dombrowski stated, “and I am very proud to have played a part in Robe’s incredible ascendency”.

After the end of 2025, Dombrowski will be re-defining his work-life balance and focusing on sailing, cycling, spending time with his family and grandchildren plus the many other activities he enjoys.
