Based next to the Olympic Park in East London, LSH Spaces boasts a 2,850 sq.ft showcase and preproduction hall, three themed rehearsal rooms, vast storage space for bands on tour, access to the latest AV equipment, and a fully stocked pro-shop.
Grant Turner, founding partner at LSH said, "We've built up a successful premier AV rental business over the past seven years, fast becoming the go to for a trusted, quality and friendly service. Listening to our clients, we felt we could go further, hence opening our doors, literally, to the industry. We're a family business, and LSH Spaces East is our open house to those who want to deliver high quality work in a fun, home from home environment."
True to its form, LSH Spaces East offers a few extra comforts to keep visitors entertained, inspired and feeling at home. Free wi-fi throughout, an on-site American Diner, a crazy golf course, pool and custom foosball tables, Sky TV, a full body hydro shower, and enough space to park your tour bus!
LSH doesn't do boring, and the themed rehearsal rooms at LSH Spaces East are an experience. Artists can take their pick from The Circus room: complete with waltzer car and flashing lights, The Country Garden: think lush grass and white picketed fence, The Boxing Ring: featuring the classic SH55 Shure mic dangling from the ceiling. All rooms are kitted out with a top of the range Martin Audio PA and monitoring system, and digital sound desks.
There is a full catalogue of high-end equipment to hire on site, including PA, backline and video wall. The showcase room features the Martin Audio MLA Mini modular line array system. There's also a Robe Lighting rig and the opportunity to live stream events over the internet. There are several video and mixing editing suites and an on-site server room for colocation of network and server hardware.
As well as a space for the music industry, the venue is also available for hire to anyone looking for a different event space - launches, award ceremonies, galleries, pop-up events and catwalk shows, would all feel at home at LSH Spaces East.
The venue opened its doors for the first time earlier this month, as Nick Mulvey checked in for some rehearsal time before his current UK tour.
