Australian lighting control manufacturer LSC Lighting Systems unveiled its latest touring dimmer - Teko. Features include 3,000W per channel @ 230V, a full 512-channel softpatch, 80 internal memories, seven dimmer curves and remote status monitoring. LSC's Pulse Transformer Fired Dimmer (PTFD) output circuitry ensures that virtually any load can be connected - even a 5W pilot lamp - without the need for dummy loads, it also ensuresflicker-free dimming, even when running on 'dirty' power.

Also new from LSC was the UK 4RU dimmer, featuring a scrolling dot matrix LED display with bar graph indication of channel levels and simple text descriptions for all menu functions. The unit offers Normal or Advanced operating mode. Access to the DMX addressing, riggers scene, chases and dimmer curves is available with the press of a single button. Other functions, including Min and Max levels, 512-channel softpatch, DMX snapshot memories and scene time editing are all available in Advanced mode. LSC has also cleverly fitted all the outlet sockets on the left side of the front panel and the control interface on the right - so even with four dimmers stacked in a rack, the LED displays are still viewable with the output leads connected.
