The light rig consists of one LumenRadio TX2 transmitter and four LumenRadio RX1 receivers - all with RDM - and an Avolites Tiger Touch board controlling two universes of moving lights including five Robe MMX spots, eleven 700 Series color spots, and 12 Robe Robin 600 LED washes. Alex Blagg of SE Systems is the tour's lighting design/director.
"Cable snakes are not conducive to small theatres," says Brad White, Teri Productions COO," and wireless technology means smaller crews, faster load-in/load-out, and cost savings." Brad adds, "The Lumen units are working fabulously on this tour. Not surprising, since we chose them for their reliability and the RDM feedback feature which increases crew efficiency. LumenRadio is bulletproof: Last year on another gig, our Lumens broadcast five cues per second for two-minute bursts - all on battery - without a single missed cue. Our staff is fighting over our LumenRadio inventory for their tours. We can't get enough of them."
This year Teri Productions celebrates their 40th anniversary in staging, lighting, and roofing for events of all sizes. Founded by Jim Coatney, the company is now jointly run by Jay Coatney and Brad White.
