Creatively we were able to achieve far greater control and dynamism over the lighting solution, while the minimal maintenance and on-going cost savings provide the hotel with a high-performance, cost-effective installation." Bocom is also responsible for the 35,000 Euro lighting refurbishment of the Rhein Tower, Dusseldorf's tallest building. 62 Bull-eye lamps, each containing 12 Lumileds Luxeon I light sources - four each of red, green and blue - replaced the original 100-watt incandescent lamps of the tower, which before had to be changed once every two years at a rate of 150 Euros each.
