Jim Gregory and Cathie Berbena Lloyd
USA - In early April 2022, Main Light will be opening a new facility in Nashville this spring. This will expand Main Light’s operations to a third location, joining Main Light East in Wilmington and Main Light West in Las Vegas.
The new 70,000sq.ft. Main Light South shop will be located at 12630 Old Hickory Blvd, Antioch, TN. Locally, Main Light South will be led by rental account manager Cathie Berbena Lloyd (pictured, right) and operations manager, Jim Gregory (left).
“We found that choosing Nashville makes it much more efficient to support our clients in the area,” explains Main Light general manager, Randy Mullican. “There was a lack of a dry hire options in this market, so it just made sense to open here, where we already have a number of clients. Now with moving into the right space for our facility here, along with the knowledgeable and experienced people that we have joining us,
“Main Light South is the right choice for our clients and for our company. This central location gives us good positioning to offer an even quicker response to clients in the middle of the country; easily supporting our many clients in Atlanta, Florida, and right here in Nashville, as well as other production hot spots throughout the region.”
Jim Gregory will serve as the operations manager, reporting to Mullican. Gregory brings years of lighting and production experience to this role having worked most recently with Pulse Lighting, a design and lighting production company based in Nashville
Rental account manager Cathie Berbena Lloyd will report to Rick McKinney, Main Light rental manager. Lloyd joins Main Light South having been manager of operations at Sightline Design Group in Nashville for the past four years and her prior experience includes six years as the general manager of 4Wall Nashville.
“All of us welcome Jim and Cathie to Main Light,” says Mullican. “Both have great experience and strong relationships throughout the industry. They really strengthen our Main Light team, and we know that the new Main Light, South facility is in good hands.”
