Martin Professional's Stagebar 54.
Denmark / Germany - Martin Professional has revealed an extensive line-up of products to be showcased on the company's stand at this year's ProLight&Sound exhibition in Frankfurt (28-31 March).

Chief among them is the MAC TW1, the 1200W tungsten wash fixture first seen in 2006 and finding its way into an increasing number of high-profile theatre applications since. A twin lens zoom system, full CMY colour mixing and choice of internal or external electronic dimming are contained in the sturdy magnesium structure that allows fast, silent convection of heat away from the back of the fixture. The MAC TW1 is also available with a new 80V lamp that offers a superior output to traditional mains voltage lamps.

The Stagebar 54 is a bright, high-efficiency LED pixel bar with RGB, Amber and 'true' white colour mixing (RGBAW) for a broader colour spectrum and greater range of pastel shades than other LED lights in its class, the company says. The Stagebar 54 employs an automatic colour calibration technique to ensure correct colour balance. Light output is constant, regardless of ambient temperatures, and different lens angles give greater flexibility and a wider variety of application. Stagebar 54 also features high-speed video capability. Mounting, connectivity and serviceability are all made easy and regulated fan speed ensures outstanding heat management, ensuring the fixture's long-term performance. Industry standard DMX 512 controllable with HSI (Hue, Saturation, Intensity) control, Stagebar 54 is light weight, yet built to withstand the rigours of the touring market. It comes in a small or large version.

The LC 2140 is Martin's bright, semi-transparent LED wall, offering true RGB colour illumination and the same automatic colour calibration technique found in the Stagebar 54. Light weight yet with a tough, tourable construction, modules come in a 2 x 1m size.

Martin will also show the Maxedia Compact, a simple plug-and-play digital media solution for clubs and retail environments. Maxedia Compact offers Maxedia software in an attractive and small system designed for powerful video and animation playback and real time manipulation.

On the control front, Martin has released application software Version 2.0 for both the Maxxyz and Maxxyz PC controllers, as well as Maxxyz OS (Operating System) 2.0. Version 2.0 software adds a host of useful features and feature updates to the Maxxyz controller range including a complete redesign of the GUI, fixture cloning, an auto update feature, online help support, new menu system, hot keys keyboard shortcuts and more, the company says.

Next up, Colour Fox is a wall-mounted DMX controller, designed as an ideal control solution for Martin's range of Exterior luminaires, Cyclo RGB+W fluorescent fixtures and Stagebar 54 LED series. Optimized for control of up to 100 individual fixtures (maximum of 512 channels), Colour Fox's pixMove software allows for the creation of static and dynamic presets, say Martin. Light Fox, meanwhile, is an easy-to-use, wall-mounted, playback controller optimized for Martin's range of Cyclo RGB+W fluorescent fixtures and StageBar 54 series but capable of controlling all types of RGBWA fixtures. Easy to install, up to 20 static or dynamic Presets can be recalled for simple and quick atmosphere adjustments. Intensity and speed are adjustable for instant mood manipulation.

The Exterior 1200 Wash is the newest addition to the company's architectural lighting range. It features a powerful 1200W lamp and full range colour mixing system with additional four-colour wheel, and a full range of varying beam angles from 7° to 19° or 12° to 29°.

The Cyclo IP65 Directional is weatherproofed for dynamic outdoor illumination of facades, structures or signage. A fluorescent linear luminaire designed to uniformly wash surfaces in colour and variable white light, its slim, linear design and optical performance are based on RGB and white T
