For Zlaty Slavik (Golden Nightingale), a singing competition that airs on Slovakian channel STV 1, Adam A Syn technicians Michal Brna and Dusan Rybar programmed the Maxedia to manipulate - divide, rotate and fly - a series of images for an LED videowall. Dagmar Pastorkova of Adam A Syn commented: "We use the Maxedia because of the variety of unique visual effects it is capable of creating through image manipulation. Nobody else can offer such diverse imagery here in Slovakia. For Zlaty Slavik we ran the names and photographs of the contestants on the LED screen in combination with live TV feed and video clips of the singers. We then chose nice complementary backgrounds to add to the look."
A second television program, TOM, airs on a private Slovakian channel, Markiza. Also a competition (the object is to find the best commentator), Maxedia was again used to provide original graphic effects for an LED wall in combination with live footage.
Two other events - Top Trends 2005 and a company ball for SME magazine - also incorporated one-of-a-kind Maxedia visual elements. Top Trends also used Mac 2000 Profiles, MAC 600 washlights, MAC 500 profile spots and Martin Exteriors, all controlled from a Martin Maxxyz. "Maxedia is capable of improving the visual aspect of any show," Dagmar states. "It makes a show more interesting and more exciting, like magic!"
