Andre began his career in the lighting and sound industry in 1986 as a lighting designer for Montreal-based Solotech before progressing into professional lighting distribution across Canada representing such names as MA Lighting and Clay Paky. In 1997 Andre accepted an invitation to move to Germany to work directly with MA Lighting. Responsible for international training and technical support on the grandMA he was also a regular contributor to the product development team. In 2001 Andre returned to his native Canada and joined A.C.T. Lighting Inc as part of the technical sales team. He continued in that role until accepting the invitation to join MDG.
