The Workshops are a very important event for the Metro team, as it gives them the opportunity to meet and talk with clients from both Greece and further afield, to hear their requirements and answer their needs.
However, it is just as important from Turbosound's point of view, not only raising awareness of its latest products, but answering questions from those needing advice on systems and helping users to get the very best from its products, says the company.
Turbosound's European sales manager Chris Hinds and applications engineer Dan Orton attended the event, making a full presentation of the company's products. Focusing on Aspect, the highlight was an outdoor demonstration of the Aspect TA-500 touring system.
Hangs of 2 x 2 TA-500T cabinets were flown above four ground-stacked TSW-218 subs per side to replicate a small touring rig, with a range of recordings being pumped through the system. T45 and T25 amplifiers were used to power the system, with control by LMS-D26 processors.
"This demonstration gave us the opportunity to show how our products, especially Aspect, have advanced in recent times and to increase our profile in the Greek market. Turbosound is still a revered brand in Greece and showing the Aspect-500 system has brought this back into the forefront of the attendees minds," says Hinds.
"I'm a strong believer that demonstrations are the best way to cut through people's pre-conceptions. Metro Audio were very accomplished in putting on a well-managed day that allowed us to show the system to the best of its abilities."
