For the sixth annual event, more than 20,000 fans filled the stands to watch rodeo pros compete in bull riding, barrel racing, and tie-down roping events, as well as to catch nightly performances from such artists as Alan Jackson, Dierks Bentley, Miranda Lambert, and Neal McCoy.
"Our guys definitely favour Meyer cabinets," says Crossroads Audio general manager Robin Magruder. "They really like that you don't have to do a lot of equalisation or adjustments - just plug them in, array them correctly, and they sound great."
Crossroads Audio built the main sound system around 26 Milo loudspeakers and two Milo 120 high-power expanded coverage curvilinear array loudspeakers per side. Twelve 700-HP ultrahigh-power subwoofers handled sub-bass duties, while 12 M2D compact curvilinear array loudspeakers, 24 M1D ultracompact curvilinear array loudspeakers, 10 UPJ-1P compact VariO loudspeakers, and eight CQ-2 narrow coverage main loudspeakers were deployed for fill and delay functions.
