Children of Uganda FOH engineer and Kampala, Uganda-based Emmy Studios managing director Luswata Emmanuel remarked: "The Midas Verona is incredibly easy to use. We had under half an hour to sound-check 24 inputs - from vocals and drums to stringed instruments - and it could not have been easier with this console. The quality of the EQ is amazing, which is important and adds a lot to this music where the harmonies and the instrument balance need to be just right."
Paul Tillman, head sound engineer at the Ordway Theatre, expressed a similar opinion after mixing on the Verona. "For the really large-scale productions, typically we use our Heritage 1000 console and for the small events a Midas Venice, which I love. Well, now we've got the Verona, which is like the Venice and then some. Verona offers more auxes, there is the addition of matrix outputs, as well as that great Midas EQ and pre-amplification. I also really like the two onboard power supplies - they are unbelievably quiet, which is of course vitally important in a theatre setting like this. Verona is definitely going to be a key element of our sound solution here."
