In the North East, Canford Audio will represent Millbank and push the brand into studio and related marketplaces, whilst Blaydon Communications will service the traditional PA/VA sector in this region. RW Salt will handle Manchester's environs, whilst Ansabac will look after the Birmingham area and further augment Millbank's representation in affiliated markets.
Further South, Luton-based Leisuretec Distribution has been appointed for representation North of the M25, whilst Surrey-based Peco Electronics, and Southampton-based Solent Sound will cover the South West and West London Electric, based in Acton, will handle the South East. Whilst Northern Ireland is represented by long-standing distributor, DL Electronics, Wales will be represented by Vaughan Sound.
Millbank's head of sales Pat Bradley explained: "Our decision to de-centralize and expand our distributor network was integral to the future success of the Millbank brand. Since Ampekko acquired Millbank from Federal Signal earlier this year we have consciously updated the range - integrating many of Ampekko's boxed products - to re-vitalize Millbank's portfolio, enabling it to set a precedent in the most challenging contemporary installations. In order for the range to achieve maximum market penetration, we believe that solid representation is required at a local level, be it at home or abroad."
