Device+context, a German company with offices in Berlin and Weimar, will be showing the latest MXWendler products at PLASA 2011. The company focuses on developing software and hardware for video playout in performance and presentation, and specialises in computer graphics, hardware programming, synchronisation techniques and multiscreen handling.

PLASA Show exhibits will include the MXWendler FXServer, a well known media server for up to six outputs, designed to aid in setting up complex sceneries, facade projections and LED lighting, and the MXWendler Stage Designer self-installable media server software.

The company observes: "In theatre performance, no stage, no scene is the same. In modern scenography the projection and its form are as important as the content itself. Every event, every scene changes in projection angles and projection surfaces. This is very important in theatres, plays and opera, where whole stages have to be changed and lit in the shortest time frames."
