Germany - Neumann & Müller Veranstaltungstechnik has been certified to the ISO 14001 and 45001 international standards in the fields of environmental management and occupational health and safety management. The criteria the company had to meet represent a further milestone in the implementation of a comprehensive sustainability concept.
Martin Hartmann-Schüler, sustainability manager at N&M: "These certifications mark a significant step for Neumann & Müller. They underline our commitment to sustainable business practices and protecting our staff. But they will also spur us on to constantly intensify and advance our efforts in these fields."
Sustainable procurement that makes efficient use of resources, optimised transport logistics, regional crews and supplies, and less negative impact on the environment – these are just a few of the items on N&M's agenda aimed at improving performance in terms of the environment and achieving the company's environmental goals.
Two important aspects in this respect are to heighten the awareness of staff and suppliers, and constantly endeavour to keep improving in terms of environmental protection. The integrated management system reviews the effectiveness of the measures taken and monitors the impact of the company's activities.
"By obtaining these new certifications, we have reached a further milestone on the road to sustainable business practices," says Florian Nürnberger, who accompanied the certification process in his role of head of technical development. "Our corporate responsibility means looking beyond mere economics and shaping a sustainable future in which priority is also given to social justice and ecological integrity."
